Commissioned Artworks

All artworks presented by Solaro Art Collection are created on commission and produced exclusively for each client. Each piece is unique and handcrafted according to the specifications agreed upon at the time of order.

As a result, each project follows a structured and transparent production process, outlined below.

Order Confirmation

Once the client confirms the artwork (model, dimensions, finish, and general specifications), an official order is issued. At this stage, the artwork is reserved exclusively for the client, production planning is initiated with the atelier, and the required materials and resources are allocated.

Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required upon order confirmation to initiate production. The remaining 50% balance is due prior to the artwork leaving the atelier. The initial deposit confirms the definitive validation of the order, authorizes the beginning of the production process, and reflects the commitment to a fully custom-made, one-of-a-kind artwork.

Production Phase

Once production has begun, the artwork enters a handcrafted creation process. Materials are transformed specifically for the commissioned work and its intended scale. At this stage, the piece can no longer be reassigned, modified, or resold to another buyer.

Production timelines may vary depending on the size and complexity of the artwork, the selected materials, and current production schedules. Estimated timelines are communicated prior to production whenever possible.

Non-Refundable Policy

As all artworks are custom-made and commissioned specifically for each client, payments are non-refundable once production has started. Production is deemed to have started when preparatory and irreversible steps are initiated.

This policy reflects standard practices within the fine art and commissioned artwork industry, where each piece is created uniquely and cannot be returned to inventory.

Estimated Production Timelines

Each artwork is entirely made to order and handcrafted by skilled artisans using established artisanal techniques. Every piece requires careful sculpting, finishing, and quality control to ensure durability, artistic integrity, and long-term presence.

Production timelines vary according to the type of artwork, dimensions, and level of detail. This information is provided to ensure a clear and transparent understanding of the creation process before placing an order. Indicative timelines: For freestanding sculptures of approximately 2 to 3 meters (78" to 118"), production typically requires 5 to 6 weeks. Larger and more complex monumental works (4 to 10 meters or 157" to 394") may require 8 to 24 weeks, depending on dimensions, level of detail, materials, and current workshop scheduling. A precise timeline is confirmed individually after the final specifications are validated.

Completion & Logistics Coordination

Once the artwork is completed, the client is notified and final preparations for transport are initiated. Shipping, insurance, and import-related procedures are organized on behalf of the client to ensure a smooth and secure delivery.

Prices include local destination VAT where applicable. Final import costs — including transport, insurance, and customs clearance — are calculated separately based on the destination.

Worldwide Shipping & Logistics

Solaro Art Collection coordinates all administrative procedures related to international transport, insurance, customs clearance, and import duties through specialized logistics and customs partners, ensuring a smooth and worry-free experience for the client.

Logistics and import costs are invoiced separately. For full transparency, a copy of the original invoice issued by the selected transport and logistics provider is shared with the client, confirming that no additional margin is applied to these costs.

Delivery Conditions

Depending on the size and weight of the artwork, delivery may be made directly to the client’s address (for artworks up to approximately 2.10 meters in height and within standard transport limits, subject to destination access conditions), or to a port or logistics hub when required.

In all cases, Solaro Art Collection coordinates the process and informs the client in advance of the delivery conditions.

Transparency & Peace of Mind

Solaro Art Collection is not a transport company. Its role is to create, curate, and distribute art internationally. No margin is applied to shipping, insurance, or import duties; all logistics costs are charged strictly at cost.
